सब बुझे दीपक जला लूँ

मैं निज पलकों में अब तक जो अश्रु-नीर बरसाती, वह ज्योति-कणों में ढल जाए, सब बुझे दीपक जला लूँ। संसृति के चिर-अज्ञात पथ पर पग धरने को अभिलाषी, क्या अमरों का लोक मिलेगा, अपनी पीड़ा को भुला लूँ। या चिर-शांत मुझे जीवन का मरघट ही मिलता जाए, मैं उस पर नव-दीपक जला लूँ।

English Translation

In my eyelids, till now, The tears I shed, May they transform into sparks of light, And with them, all extinguished lamps I ignite. On the eternally unknown path of creation, Eager to step, Will I find the realm of immortals, To forget my own pain. Or will I only find the eternal graveyard Of life, serene, On which I light new lamps.
