फैल खेतों में दूर तलक मख़मल की कोमल हरियाली, लिपटी जिससे रवि की किरणें चाँदी की सी उजली जाली। तिनकों के हरे हरे तन पर हिल हरित रुधिर है रहा झलक, श्यामल भूतल पर झुका हुआ नभ का चीर निर्मल नील फलक। अब रजत स्वर्ण मंजरियों से लद गईं आम्र तरु की डाली, झर रहे ढाक, पीपल के दल, हो उठी कोकिल मतवाली। महके कटहल, मुकुलित जामुन, जंगल में झरबेरी झूली, फूले आड़ू, नीबू, दाड़िम, आलू, गोभी, बैंगन, मूली।

Across the fields, far and wide, spreads soft velvet greenery, Clasped by sun rays, a bright net of silver sheen. On tiny green bodies of blades, quivers verdant blood, Over the dark earth, bends the pure blue sky's hood. Now branches of mango trees are laden with silver-gold blossoms, Dhāk and Pipal leaves fall, the cuckoo becomes joyous. Jackfruits fragrant, jamuns budding, wild berries sway in the jungle, Peaches, lemons, pomegranates, potatoes, cabbage, brinjal, radish bloom.
