कौन तुम? संसृति-जलनिधि तीर तरंगों से फेंकी मणि एक, कर रहे निर्जन का चुपचाप प्रभाहीन बहती दुख की एक। दुख की पिछली रजनी बीच विकसता सुख का नवल प्रभात, एक परदा यह झीना नील छिपाए है जिसमें सुख गात।

Who are you, on this shore of life's ocean, A jewel tossed by its waves? Silently enduring the desolation, A dull stream of sorrow flows. Between the last night of sorrow, A new dawn of happiness blooms. A delicate blue veil it is, Concealing a body of bliss.
