शक्ति की करो मौलिक कल्पना, करो पूजन, छोड़ दो समर जब तक न सिद्ध हो राम। एक और मन रहा राम का जो न थका, जो नहीं जानता दैन्य, नहीं जानता विनय। कहता था- 'राघव, लंका पर विजय कठिन है, किन्तु असंभव नहीं, हो भी सकती है। हार का कारण नहीं, जय का निश्चय चाहिए। एक बार सोचो, राम, तुम हो कौन? कौन तुम्हारी शक्ति है? कौन तुम्हारा पराक्रम? कौन तुम्हारा धैर्य, तुम्हारा बल, तुम्हारी भुजाएँ? कौन तुम्हारा संकल्प, तुम्हारी तपस्या? कौन तुम्हारा विजय, तुम्हारा पुरुषार्थ?'

English Translation

Conceive original power, Perform worship, Cease battle until you are proven, Rama. Yet another mind within Rama, which was unwearied, Which knew no meekness, knew no supplication. It said - 'Raghava, victory over Lanka is difficult, But not impossible, it can be achieved. Not the cause of defeat, but the certainty of victory is needed. Think once, Rama, who are you? Who is your strength? Who is your valor? Who is your patience, your might, your arms? Who is your resolve, your penance? Who is your victory, your endeavor?'
